The idea for this painting was born with a photo of a group of children who came to walk with us. In the photo, a girl calmly watched while holding the halter of one of my horses. When separating this little girl from the rest of the image, a feeling of melancholy and sadness emerged. So I installed my heroine in an environment inspired by a 15th century tapestry. the monochrome perfectly accentuates the anguish of the scene. the giant, scary white horse is inspired by a paper study by Geoffroy de Ruillé (French animal sculptor). And this fragile, modern girl is peacefully holding her halter. What will happen to this little girl? Everyone will imagine the rest of this story.
